The... read more instructors were super chill and easy to communicate with. They were all super experienced and there was soo much to learn from each one of their experiences - from Malhar to Rohan to Sai to Amit! Such cool people.
The resort was clean, cozy and very well maintained. It is best to stay with them as it is connected to beach and it becomes easy to go for the course as well.
Also the staff and management was very polite and approachable from Poonam ma’am to Bhavna to Rekhaji (who cooks amazingggg food) and Choti!
Overall, Andamans for me will be all about Scuba at Gypsy Divers!

Talking to the staff in the resort they are very friendly and helpful, had delicious food that's the best part of it. Rooms were very clean and tidy with all modern facilities. I would say its a must visit place .We had also received all prior information and prerequisites for the course which was much helpful to understand how things work in certification. The owners were very helpful and they were in touch with us for feedbacks day to day after dives.i would suggest if you want to do certification pl give it a try. Thanks for hosting us.

Poonam Dharne, the lead of... read more Gypsy divers takes it as her commitment to ensure that all the folks have a great experience throughout the program. In our case, she personally reached out to help us with all the queries we had before the start of the course. She extended this gesture with a special permission for us to dive when we got stuck in cyclone and when the diving got suspended. She has done a lot for the Diving community on the island and is well respected when you get to speak the locals. The stay maintains a good standard and presents a very prudent option for accommodation on the island.

The admin team and the dive team are both very well helpful and encouraging. Rohan, our instructor is a very understanding person who gave time to all of us to learn all the necessary skills at our own pace. Other dive masters Toolar, Kelly, Toto, Marshall are fun to be around. The team running the whole operation, Bhavna, Choti, Bheem Ji, Naresh made the whole stay comfortable. Special Mention to Santosh Dharne who had been a great host during our stay.

Gypsy diver resort promises an experience and they deliver the same. Will be certainly looking to head back for my advanced course.

  This is definitely a bucket list item ticked off. We booked the stay and PADI open water dive certificate package and spent 5 days at Gypsy. The place is quaint,... read more right on the beach and filled with lovely staff. Bhawna (Manager), Rohan (dive instructor) and Reka (chef extraordinaire) were all amazing at making our stay memorable. The rooms are very comfortable, the dive instruction was well structured and Rohan was great at pacing it to our needs. Reka cooked amazing meals that seemed to be ready on time, every time! Finally Bhawna was very accommodating and would help us with every single one of our needs in a timely manner including organizing ferry tickets, a scooter for us to rent and even accomodation in Port Blair.

If you are looking to do a fun dive or a PADI certification course like we did there are many option in Havelock, but Gypsy is special. I'm sure it looks like all the other dive resorts, but it's the people that make it special. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!! So much so that we anticipate returning in March for our Advanced Open Water certificate!
